In her 12+ years’ experience as a designer, Christine knows how to create beautiful, stylish spaces while maintaining tight budgets, balancing multiple priorities, and building relationships with contractors and clients. Christine loves helping design challenged homeowners create stylish, yet functional spaces that reflect their own style and personality.
Christine’s design work has been published in Canadian & US design magazines.
She also
is currently a Contributing Design Expert for Woman’s World Magazine
has been a Brand Ambassador for Urban Barn,
has been a design contributor for Dabble Magazine,
appeared on the national television show Cityline, & CHCH News and the Marc & Mandy Show as a design expert talking about home decor, and
freelanced as a Production Designer on the Property Brothers Show “Buying and Selling” on HGTV & W Network in Canada.

“Buy great, timeless pieces that have longevity and accessorize with less expensive items! Make this your design motto and you will be successful. “I’ve always loved how Fashion intersects with Interior Decor, and frankly I cannot get enough of both. If you love the clothes in your closet, then why shouldn’t that style or colour be reflected in your home? If you’ve got great style…so should your home — “Decorate as you dress” is her motto!
Maria Perketa
Design project manager/co-founder
Dedication, knowledge, and attention to detail assure accurate information is always provided to clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Maria’s extensive experience in sales, project management and on-site construction administration are key ingredients to a successful project.
Her working knowledge streamlines new construction and renovation while ensuring provision of a first quality fully functional product for our clients. Maria has years of experience with multi-family, institutional and restaurant construction. She remains sensitive to the clients’ needs while striving to develop positive working relationships to ensure completion of projects on time and within budget.
Maria has been an integral part of the Future Dream Home Design Team at the National Home Show, 2012, 2016, 2017,
Maria was the Design/Project Management lead of the “Just Right “Feature at the 2014 Fall Home Show,
Feature Specialist-Real Estate Talk Show 2014-2016,
Volunteer Designer for Furniture Bank,
Speaker/author, Executive Committee Member and Communications Chair for BILD/RenoMark,
Trade and Home Shows Speaker & Expert, and
